We painted the
windows ourselves.
The clouds, the sky and the hours on that door were all painted by hand, by us. It is the first thing most people notice, and we are glad it is.
If the neon is on, we are making drinks. Come in, say hello, and take as long as you want over it. Nobody here is going to rush you back out the door.

A loaded tea is
not a mystery.
The most common complaint about loaded teas anywhere is that nobody can find out what is in them. So every drink below lists what is actually in it, and the full board is on the wall when you walk in.

The bakery is ours too. It runs out of our own kitchen rather than off the back of a truck, which is why the case looks different depending on the day you walk in.
Protein baked into them, not dusted on afterward, and most of them land somewhere between 180 and 220 calories. People put the donuts in their reviews without anybody asking them to, and that is the only endorsement worth having.

Palatka sits in a wide bend of the St. Johns, right where the river turns north. We are a few steps from it on St. Johns Avenue, windows painted, neon on.
Since 2022 this has been a morning habit for a lot of people in the 386. Same faces, same time, same drink. Come in once and we will remember what you had.

want to ask.
No sales pitch in any of these.
Am I going to get pressured into joining something?
No. Nobody here is going to put you in a meeting or ask you to sell anything, ever.
What this place actually is sits closer to a social club than a drive-thru. People sit, people talk, people end up knowing each other by name. Stay for an hour or grab it and go, both are completely normal here, and neither one gets you a sales pitch.
There is one thing worth knowing, and only because it saves you money. If you end up coming in most days, you can order the products online yourself for up to 40% off retail and make the same drinks at home. Same tea, same Lift Off, same toppers, your own kitchen. A lot of regulars do both: at home on the busy mornings, in here when they want it made for them. Ask us about it whenever you like. If you never ask, we will never bring it up.
How much caffeine is in a loaded tea?
180 to 220mg in a loaded tea, depending on the size you choose. Of that, 75mg comes from the Lift Off and the rest from the brewed tea base.
The part that matters more than the number: there is no sugar under it and zero calories in the cup, so there is nothing to crash off at two in the afternoon. Tell us at the counter if you are sensitive to caffeine and we will build yours lighter or leave it out entirely.
Is it expensive?
It is in the range of a coffee shop drink, and it is a lot more filling than one. People who switch usually do it because a tea or a shake replaces both the coffee and the pastry. Current prices are on the board in the shop, and we will always tell you before we ring it up.
What is actually in it?
Four things, and that is genuinely all of it:
A black and green blended tea as the base, which is the metabolism side of the drink. Lift Off, which carries 75mg of caffeine along with A and B vitamins. Ice. And a sugar free topper of the day, which is where the flavor comes from.
Boba goes in on request. Every container we pour from sits behind the counter in plain sight, and you are welcome to read any label you like.
Can I bring my kid?
Please do. We will make them something without caffeine, and the boba tends to settle the matter.
Can I order ahead?
Call us on 386-227-6860 and we will have it ready. Mornings between seven and nine are our busiest, so a call then saves you a few minutes.
